This FOOH clip was created for ABOUT YOU’s “Fashion Mania” event during Berlin Fashion Week, produced under the direction of keingarten with Bora Güler and myself on execution. The shot is framed as casual phone footage of friends in front of the Fernsehturm at Alexanderplatz, with added lightning effects.
Animated bolts travel up the tower and end in a strike at the tip, hinting at the Fashion Mania logo which finally appears. I developed and animated the lightning setup in 3D, using a fully controllable system without simulations so timing, behavior and shape could be adjusted quickly for different edits.
